Noopept - what is it actually?
Ноопепт or in English Noopept, i.e. N-phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester is a drug from the category of nootropics. Other names for this preparation are GVS-111, Nupept and Zynapse. It was developed and patented in Russia. Just like the whole section of cognitive enhancers, for example Ladasten. Nootept is often compared to another nootropic preparation which is piracetam. The action of Noopept is almost a thousand times stronger. Consequently, it means a lower dosage of Nootept compared to piracetam.
As a smart drug with a nootropic effect, this preparation perfectly supports processes that require increased concentration. In addition, it exhibits a spectrum of neuroprotective effects and a moderate anxiolytic effect. In the human body, it is converted to cycloprolylglycine.
Noopept - the application of the substance.
Ноопепт - as a nootropic drug - can be used by people who want to increase mental activity, including learners and students. The preparation significantly improves cognitive functions. Better concentration and the ability to remember are the main features of the Naapepta. Taking this substance is accompanied by an improvement in overall well-being. The preparation may have moderate anxiolytic and antidepressant effects. It also stabilizes the emotional response to stressful situations.
When using this remedy, it is possible to experience a reduction in fatigue. The preparation also supports the immune system. It is widely and multi-threaded in supporting the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. It has been successfully tested on patients with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
Mechanism of action and profile of Nootept.
The substance shows several basic mechanisms of action on the body. It increases the sensitivity of cells to the action of the acetylcholine neurotransmitter. Thanks to that, it improves the electric charge conduction between neurons. The consequence of this is an improved memory. The issue concerns mainly the transformation of short-term memory and its consolidation in long-term memory. This is done by increasing the neurotrophic factors in the brain, specifically in the hippocampus. Nootept also supports the treatment of moderate-intensity depression. the most important feature of this substance is the improvement of the neuroplasticity of connections between neurons. The overall profile of the interaction of substances translates into more effective work of the brain.
How to dose the preparation?
The recommended dosage of Noopept is between 10mg and 30mg. The agent should be taken 1 to 3 times a day. It is not recommended to exceed the daily dose. The recommended total daily dose is up to 60 mg of the active substance. Spectacular effects are achieved by combining Nooteptu with choline or Alpha GPC.
